The company provides legal services as a law firm in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic and the rules of the Czech Bar Association.

2. Purpose of the Website

The website serves primarily to present the law firm, its services, contact details, information about the firm, and career opportunities.

The information published on the website is of a general informational nature. It does not, in itself, constitute legal advice, a legal opinion, or an offer to enter into an agreement for the provision of legal services.

3. Formation of an Attorney-Client Relationship

Mere access to the website, submission of a contact form, e-mail, CV, or any other message through the website does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not create any obligation for the law firm to provide legal services.

A contractual relationship for the provision of legal services is established only on the basis of an individual agreement between the client and Mašek advokáti s.r.o., or after the fulfilment of any other conditions required by applicable laws or professional rules governing the legal profession.

4. Contact Forms and Communication Through the Website

Users may contact the operator through the website, in particular for the purpose of submitting an enquiry, requesting a consultation, or sending a message.

The user is responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and completeness of the data provided through a form or other communication.

The operator is not liable for any damage caused by the user providing incorrect, incomplete, or false information.

Submitting a form does not create any entitlement to the provision of legal services, to a response within a specific period, or to the acceptance of a particular matter.

5. Career Form and Submission of CVs

The website may allow candidates applying for employment, cooperation, or professional internship opportunities to submit contact details, a CV, a cover letter, or other documents related to a recruitment process.

Submitting a CV or another career-related application does not create an employment relationship, an entitlement to be invited for an interview, an entitlement to be included in a recruitment process, or an entitlement to enter into any contract.

The candidate is responsible for ensuring that the information provided in the CV, cover letter, and any other submitted documents is true, up to date, and that the candidate is authorised to provide such information to the operator.

Candidates should not submit special categories of personal data unless this is necessary for the purposes of the recruitment process. This includes, in particular, information concerning health, religious beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, biometric data, or other sensitive information.

Details regarding the processing of candidates’ personal data, including the legal basis, purpose of processing, retention period, and candidates’ rights, are set out in the Privacy Policy document.

6. Protection of Personal Data

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, known as the GDPR, and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data.

Detailed information on the processing of personal data must be provided in a separate Privacy Policy document, which should be accessible from the footer of the website and near the relevant forms.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure the functionality of the website, measure traffic, or improve the user experience.

Details on the use of cookies, their purposes, retention periods, and available settings should be provided in a separate Cookie Policy document or in the Privacy Policy document.

8. Website Content

The operator strives to ensure that the information published on the website is accurate, up to date, and understandable. Nevertheless, it cannot be guaranteed that all content will always be complete, current, or free of errors.

The operator reserves the right to change, supplement, or remove any content on the website at any time without prior notice.

9. Availability of the Website

The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website. The website may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, outages of third-party services, or other circumstances.

The operator is not liable for any damage arising as a result of the unavailability of the website, the inability to submit a form, or the loss of data during electronic communication, unless such liability arises from mandatory provisions of applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the website, including in particular texts, graphics, photographs, layout, design, logos, and other elements, is protected by intellectual property laws unless stated otherwise.

Without the operator’s prior written consent, it is not permitted to copy, distribute, modify, publish, or use the website content for commercial purposes, except where such use is permitted by applicable law.

11. Links to Third-Party Websites

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

The operator is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of such third parties. Users access third-party websites at their own risk.

12. Prohibited Use of the Website

  • violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties,
  • threatens the security, functionality, or availability of the website,
